Paul Sivert is Founder and Owner of the Shamanic Healing Institute. He is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Cross-Cultural Shamanic Practitioner. Paul holds a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology, an advanced degree in Ministry of Spiritual Counseling, and certificates to practice Integrated Awareness and Past Life Regression. Paul’s experience includes forty years of clinical counseling and thirty years of shamanic studies and practice. Paul’s training, teaching, and practice form the foundation of SHI’s healing services, energy medicine practice, and educational programs.

Life experiences and journeys serve to validate Paul’s unique connection to all living things. Paul uniquely embraces the world’s experiences from a healing perspective that nurtures a drive and desire to serve others. Paul defines journeys for others to heal, to grow personally, to engage in spiritual practice, and to embody wellness in the most genuine way.

Paul’s private counseling and consulting business opened in 1984. His practice grows in numbers as more individuals seek soul-level healing through shamanism. Shamanism provides a body of ever growing knowledge that Paul utilizes to help others define their journey to heal, to grow personally, and to embody a spiritual practice.

Paul possesses advanced ceremonial expertise in Divination, Soul Retrieval, Extraction, and Indigenous Healing Traditions to include the Andean Cosmology. He has received the initiations of the Pampamesayoq (Steward of the Earth), Altomesayoq (Practitioner of the People’s Medicine), Munay Ki Rites, Hatun Karpay (Grand Initiation), Mosoq Karpay (New Initiation), and the Forth Level Karpay, which is the highest level healer of the Q’ero people of Peru.

Paul’s years of non-traditional (shamanism) and conventional (psychology) methods of counseling and healing service are heart-centered. His private sessions, workshops, classes, and community service are filled with the energy of Munay – a word spoken by the Q’ero of Peru that means unconditional and compassionate love and beauty.
